“You would have been mad if I didn't perform,” she snapped after him, pouting, before sighing as he removed her from the stage, taking the seat he ordered her to, her eyes not leaving him. “Why are you up, Erik? I spent four nights and days at your side, I am well aware you are not ready to be up here yet.” she said.
And promptly bit her tongue, realizing that the confession would not help her case.
She turned her eyes to the stage, a sneer curling her lips at the sight of Christine. “Of course,” she muttered, shaking her head. He awoke finally and the first thing he did was go for his shining star...she pouted against, resting her head on her too thin wrist. She almost wished he was asleep again, worrying her, but at least hers for the moment.
