Dinah's expression darkened. Talking about marriage, even other people's marriages, wasn't always the most comfortable subject for her. She had a lot of cynicism regarding marriage and it didn't help that the last time she'd lived with a boyfriend, he had proposed and things had fallen apart after she said no.
She didn't see that happening even a little bit, especially since they hadn't even gotten to the 'l' word stage, but that didn't change the fact that it was still an awkward subject. More than that, she was contemplating which option was worse-knowing that some innocent women had been forced into marriage with Eric, or knowing that he'd found someone that might be just as much trouble as he was.
"Well, the good news is that Fred might be able to help us track down this Red and figure out what her deal is."
When it came down to it, they had their plates full between the search for Joker, Eric, and now the mystery of his new bride, not to mention whatever other mischief the City tended to throw at them. Dinah was feeling a little useless at the moment-something that could be solved by tracking down some petty criminals and giftwrapping them for the police-or at least, she hoped that would be the best bandaid for that feeling.
