"It's possible. Mind-whammied that is." Dean's lips thinned as he tried not to think about it. "Can't say I see any other way around it unless she's just as fucked as he is. Could be a bloodsucker, like you said." He sighed softly.
"And there are all sorts of marriages." He didn't go into that; he didn't think he needed to. His arms tightened around her, letting her know he was there. He wasn't going anywhere. While he wasn't the marrying type, he wasn't exactly the asshole that did whatever was walking nearby in a skirt either. Not anymore anyway.
"Maybe they're both here for same reason we are, though that doesn't explain the date. Don't recognize him." It didn't mean much that he didn't recognize the guy, but Fred hadn't mentioned anyone else working for/with her. So, the guy was either brand new and Fred hadn't had a chance to say anything, or the guy wasn't in the business. Dean wished it was more than former than the latter honestly.
