"He's a very interesting person." Fred didn't want to be rude, but she also had a different insight to the man than Jo and many others. Then again, she knew that Eric wasn't exactly the best man around. Her fingers tightened on Christian's arm, but she managed to keep a smile on her face.
"He also seems to be channeling ..." Her words died off as she looked at just how much had been done for the party.
"Do you think they did this just for tonight or do you think it's always this way? Or did it come this way? It's pretty, but it's not what I would think would be right for a reception. Though if you're a vampire and whoever marries a vampire..but Cordy wouldn't have this if she married Angel - not that they were getting married, but they wouldn't." She wasn't paying attention to where she was going, looking up at everything and unashamed of it, so it was a very good thing she had Christian to guide her.
"I like bright colors. My cousin though did her reception in neon pastels. It wasn't exactly what I would call comfortable. Kept waiting for someone to pop out with a swatch and those blinds glasses, and you probably have no idea what I'm talking about, do you, Christian?" Her smile was apologetic yet teasing. She wasn't making fun of him, so much as finding her babbling about something that was virtually unknown as if it were everyday knowledge amusing. She did have a tendency to do that.
