Jo smiled and greeted Fred as well as her friend. She silently took note of the looks he kept sneaking in Fred's direction and couldn't help but allow herself a small smile. She truly believed that her brainy friend had had a bad streak of luck lately and deserved a little bit of happiness.
Jo wore the same dress that she'd worn to infiltrate Crowley's mansion. It felt like a bad omen, having that show up in her closet. All the same, it wasn't like she was going to go dress shopping for a party at Dracula's castle.
She felt a little bit like a third wheel, but she brushed those feelings aside. She wasn't here for fun. She was here to work. Or at least, to observe and possibly talk to the vampire who she now shared a bar with whether she liked it or not.
