Jack really hoped that Enigma got a real good black-and-blueing. It would do the girl some good. Maybe she'd learn that she was the low dog in this game. Bottom rung. She had to learn some respect. Not just fear. Fear she had. Jack knew that. If she didn't fear Crane, she would soon, and she would respect them both.
