Beauty was up in a second, dashing to the door with a green frame. "Just ... I'll be right... Just wait there!"
Gone the next minute, and back the minute after that, Beauty couldn't have been more pleased. "Here!" she exclaimed, pressing a copy of Hooker's translation into the mayor's hands. "This is the most lyrical, whimsical translation I've read. I think you should take it with you. It will give you a reason to come back next week and have tea with me again. We can talk about the play! And maybe you can bring a book you love, and I'll read it for the week after!"
