"Burning lights a fire that many want to salvage." She wanted to feel those things. Those feelings which had been taking over her moments ago. She still couldn't quite describe what they were all she knew was that she wanted to continue feeling them more and more. At least until she came to realise just what they were. She wasn't quite sure that she would ever fully grasp it though.
Christine pushed herself away from the piano as he moved the armchair close to where he would be sitting, pleasure evident on her face. He was going to play once more. What she wanted was happening and she couldn't be happier. Her curiosity had been grasped and Christine really wished to hear more.
As she settled by his side, Christine took a few more moments just watching the way the light played off of him. If it was possible it made him even more handsome. Alluring. Tempting.
Her heart was pounding at the thoughts running through her mind and she was content with keeping them there. The guilt she thought she should feel was no where to be seen. No thoughts on this being improper. It was right.
As he began to play something lit up in her mind. A familiarity that she couldn't quite put her finger on it. She knew that tune, a distant memory of a song sung to her. His voice. It had to be his voice. Her eyes closed as it washed over her and the melody began to form in her mind before he had pressed the right key.
Candles. Mist. The boat...The room she had woken in. It was definitely his voice playing in her mind and she knew it. Those memories which had not really come to her before now were bright and it was like she was there. She could hear every little noise as the boat was pushed out to his home. Feel the music surrounding her and building up so much that it was overflowing. Perfection. Beauty. Magnificence.
Him.
Without realising she had begun to hum along. A smile blossomed on her features as her chest lifted slightly as if the music was forcing every part of her to feel everything. To open her body, her soul, her mind to this song. This glorious song.
