"I like it, but it could get a little warm here. Not that it's overly warm, but if you feel like being active, a three piece suit could get very warm." Fred nodded, not at all minding the suit. "It looks very nice on you. It suits you. People don't wear it often, that kind of thing, your suit, but they still wear them. Usually they're bankers or business men, or lawyers." She smiled, glad that he wasn't lawyer. Lawyers were a tricky lot.
"Oh, friendship is fine by me. I like sharing. It's kind of exciting seeing someone do something for the first time, even if they don't like it. Tacos, ice cream, waffles - though I'm sure waffles existed back in your day, but you might not have eaten them very often, or maybe you did. You probably ate crepes. I like crepes. Then there's Chinese food. And computers, and phones, and cars, and movies, and starships. There's a good bit of everything here, and it's nice to be able to share." She wasn't exactly lonely; she always had someone to talk to, but Fred was very much a giving and exploring person. Having the excuse to do both, even in a place she'd lived for many years, was definitely a gift.
"I can introduce you to my friends, then you'll have other friends. Or acquaintances if not friends. Oh! I can introduce you to.." She looked at the suit, her nose wrinkling as if she were having second thoughts. "You and Dean might get along. He's not a bad guy, just guarded and a little rough around the edges sometimes. Or Jack. Or Errol. Or Sam. You've met Lorne. Then there's Dinah and Zatanna - Jack and Zatanna are dating. Think Errol has this thing for this girl who I've only met once. Erik - he's the opera manager, though he's not a friend, but you might like him. Y'all are both in music....." She blushed and laughed softly as she realized she was certainly going on.
"Sorry. Too much information at once, and you haven't even met them. They're pretty nifty. But, we'll go as fast or as slow as you like, okay? Anything in my babbling and rambling sounded like some place you'd like to start?" Her smile was soft and understanding; it wasn't like she didn't understand she could sound a little crazy. She was very aware that she could and often did fill other people's brains with too much in one go. Just sometimes she got excited.
