"Oh. You hadn't...oh. Then you should watch some. We can watch some. It could be fun. We could have popcorn, and candy, and soda, and then tacos. Not at the movies. It's hard to eat tacos in the dark. Not so much in the park. I like to have them on a lark. The fun whimsical time, not a bird. That'd be hard." Fred seemed rather serious toward the end, even if she knew she'd been rhyming.
"Pylea is another dimension. In it the people who look like Lorne, only with more furry clothing and less hair products, rule. Humans are cattle, and may be eaten or used as slaves. I got hijacked there." She shrugged, not at all happy about her time in Pylea. "You can only get there through magic."
She nudged her croissant a little on its paper plate; her appetite not what it usually was for the moment. She nudged the baked good a little more before glancing up at him.
"So, you're not from this time at all, are you? I only guess because you haven't seen movies. Then again you could be like another friend of mine who didn't have movies because the people in charge didn't like movies. Well, they didn't like creative stuff. I think. So they may have had movies, just not fun movies. He's from the future. But you look like you're from the past?" She gave him a little smile.
