Lois might have pointed out that she didn't have the best of luck herself when it came to men. But as it was, he didn't bring it up, so instead she took the offered hand and moved a little bit closer.
There weren't many situations in life where Lois let someone else take the lead, but dancing was one of them. Unless of course Lindsey couldn't dance. Then she might just be tempted to take over, if only to keep him from trampling all over her feet.
"How's your secretary?" she asked.
Lois had questioned the woman quite thoroughly and had managed to get in a little biting remark about the coffee. She couldn't help but wonder if it had made any difference.
Of course, after questioning the woman, she had started to wonder if Lindsey's paranoia might have a solid foundation in reality. She knew a little bit of what Lorne had warned her that he might be mixed up in, but she couldn't help but wonder about the details of it all. Wondering was what she did best after all.
