Lois had no complaints about that smile. She returned it easily, though there was a part of her that was surprised by the way he was looking at her. It had been awhile since a guy had looked at her-or smiled at her-like that. Lois couldn't help but enjoy it, just a little bit.
She certainly had dressed to the nines. After all, this opening was a veritable who's who and Lois wanted to look like she belonged. Plus, even if she would never admit it, there was a girly part of her that really enjoyed shopping for this sort of thing.
"Hey," she said once she got close enough to Lindsey to greet him. "Thanks for coming tonight." She tilted her head and smiled up at him. "And if I didn't mention it before, you clean up nice."
