"Oh, I don't. Not exactly. He just seemed to think I could." Fred shrugged absently, not seeming to mind it all. She had been a little sad that she disappointed the man, but she'd barely known him.
"It is. It is frightening, too. I've been caught in there a few times. And I think the museum, it had one, had something in there..." The brainy female shuddered a little, and just held onto his arm. She really didn't want to think about it. "Gave me the willies." She smiled up at him, trying to ignore the feeling. She caught the look then glanced out at the crowd.
"Oh, just thought I saw someone I used to know. I don't know why he'd come here, though. He's kind of...I just don't see him being a big opera fan. Though, you never know. He's old, so he might. Which doesn't mean you have to be old to like this stuff, but I'd guess it would be something familiar?" She shook her head, laughing softly. "No one, I'm sure."
