Errol looked at Fred with some surprise. "I didn't realize you danced." That she hadn't been selected indicated that she wasn't up to a professional level, perhaps, but it was still impressive.
He smiled faintly. "Yes, I have. Not as often as I could, perhaps, but it is impressive, isn't it?" He'd made a trip there two days prior for his research project. It hadn't helped overly much, but the atmosphere of the place was always pleasant and he'd found himself distracted by the biography section for some time.
He followed her gaze, not seeing anyone who stood out in particular, and turned to her with a raised eyebrow that plainly asked if the person she thought she'd seen was anyone he was familiar with. Not that he expected it to be. He knew comparatively few people, he thought, since his circle of activity extended to home, work, and the occasional trip to the library. A night out like this was downright exotic for him.
