"You are from 1901?" she asked, eyes lighting up slightly. She had not met anyone so close to her own time before, other than Erik of course. So to have someone who would understand what she is going through was a relief and she found herself wishing to remain on talking terms with him. "You are only twenty years ahead of my own time."
She wondered what could have changed in those twenty years. But that was not really important so she would ignore the curiosity. At least for today. She looked at the dress he pulled out and took a moment to consider it. "It is beautiful. But I worry it is perhaps not quite...conservative enough as you said."
What if it clung too much? It would not suit such an event. She would have to find one that was perhaps more suited to the occasion. A party such as this required a gown that would catch attention really. At least in a way she would approve of. As would Erik.
