Dinah gave Aidan an easy smile and started to lead the way.
"Hopefully the City cooperates. I assume you've noticed that the streets like to change around here?"
She tried not to dwell too much on the idea of vampires who might not have Aidan's policies in regards to human life trying to blend in. Instead, she put her efforts toward finding the restaurant.
"If you're here to stay, it's possible the City might have arranged a place for you to stay," she told him. "It usually does that for newcomers, though sometimes it takes a bit for that to kick in." She tried not to let her own frustration show too much. "I think whatever happened with some of us getting sucked into that other world and now the influx of people has either confused it or its simply being mean, because I haven't been able to find my apartment since returning."
