"Oh! Ms. Pryde." Katya must have been a nickname, then. She thought Ms. Pryde's first name was really Katherine, but she could have been mistaken. Maybe it was Katya. "I ran into her. Not here." She waved a hand in front of her face quickly, trying to wave away any confusion. She didn't particularly like Colossus much these days, but she didn't dislike him enough to want to plant false hopes in his head. "I accidentally 'ported over to that Fortress place and she found me over there. I only found myself back here a little while ago."
Long enough for her to have changed into more City-appropriate clothes, back into pastels and blessedly impractical leggings and ballet flats, and back to looking and feeling like herself. Except for, you know, suddenly running into Illyana's big brother.
"Yeah, this is the City," she said, clutching her bag nervously. "Big place. The streets move. No kidnapping demons to take me back to Limbo." She glared pointedly at him. And because she had sympathy for anyone stuck eating the food at the Fortress for longer than she had, she added grudgingly, "And a lot of restaurants. I can suggest a few."
