Lois had been running around like a chicken with her head cut off. There were the reports of missing people and the attempt to find out who had gone missing in the last two weeks. This was more difficult than it would sound since the City tended to sometimes send people back to where they came from anyway, but not nearly in the numbers that had disappeared lately.
However, even reporters needed to eat and so she'd stopped by a convenience store to pick up whatever they had that was easy to eat on the go.
The reporter with a nose for news did a double take as she walked by someone that she could have sworn was on the list of missing people.
Finally, she approached him. The way she saw it, he owed her one for the stolen notebook. At the very least a quote for her article.
"Well if it isn't Dean Winchester?" she said with her best 'charming the story outta 'em' grin. "I heard you'd left town."
