She was beginning to feel full, but the pizza was so good that Annie scooped up her third slice. She didn't know if she would even finish it, or if it would become tomorrow's lunch.
"I have friends, none that I've met and have vanished and I've had to re-meet, though. I have had some vanish... But every one of my friends here is from some other place and time. I've managed to make a good handful. Dean, Megan - she's the girl that works with me at my shop, Charlie, Fred, Rufio. No family, though. No boyfriend. Or girlfriend."
