"When I use my power, we'll be quite connected." Annie wanted Jarvis to be ready for it. As ready as he could be, anyway. "I've noticed." She smiled. "So far, nothing bad. I'd like to keep it that way, too. Especially with you guys, the machines. Working here and close to everything, I don't want anything to be tense, which is why I wanted to tell you more about my ability before just jumping into it like I did with the others."
Her smile softened at Jarvis' words about the suit and the arm. "You can tell the Iron Man suit that I'll be back. I promised the arm the same thing, but if it gets nervous, you can reassure it, too. Also, if you could help me think of a nickname that isn't 'Dummy', I'd be grateful. I feel bad referring to it as that. I know it's a term of endearment for Tony, but it doesn't feel right for me to use it."
Even the elevator seemed more high tech than any she'd seen before. It was like nothing around Tony was old fashioned. A fun thing for her, really. Not that she didn't enjoy the older stuff, too. But she felt so at home with all the advanced technology she'd seen. Like it was all a big warm blanket wrapping around her.
