Annie glanced down and found herself looking at a shiny red car that made her smile. It looked fast and powerful, and she had the urge to go and have a closer look at it, but something else caught her eye instead - the man driving it.
She hadn't expected to see him here, and the fact that he was driving a car that he hadn't previously owned didn't really click in her head. It didn't really matter to her in the end. The excitement bubbled up inside of her and she discovered that she was moving without thinking. Not a lot of thinking was going on at all, really. She should have thought about the fact that he didn't acknowledge her even after everything that had happened with the suit. Or that he seemed to be talking to somebody who wasn't there at all.
Annie recognized the face and the voice and the attitude and that's all that really mattered to her.
"Tony!" As she got closer to the car, her pace quickened, and soon she was upon him, nearly flinging herself over the door to reach and grab him around the neck in a fierce hug. Her feet were off the ground, though she made sure that none of the metal rivets on her jeans were touching the paint or any other part of the car. She had a feeling that a man like Tony Stark wouldn't appreciate scratches on his fancy auto.
