Murphy oddly wasn't angry about the kissing or the punching. Now that she knew that this was a version of herself, well... she might have reacted the same way if she hadn't seen Harry in months.
She sighed.
"So, we're just pawns in a power struggle between a sentient city and whatever the hell powers are at work in the world that we just came from. It's never just a simple smash and grab case anymore, is it?"
She gave her other self a small smile, and then raised an eyebrow at Harry. After all, things had gotten a whole lot more complicated once she'd started working for SI and especially after she'd started working with him in particular. Not that she had many complaints, but it was still odd to think about just how much she had come to experience over the years.
