"Will you tell me what happened?" He did care, and there was concern in his voice, but it wasn't panic. Baba was alright now, and there wasn't a thing he could do to go back and change what she'd been through. He'd seen humans get hysterical at the prospect of past hurts done to their loved ones and act in foolish ways as if wanting them to not be hurt enough would make it so it hadn't happened.
"I met another version of myself, and Pam. Pam was with me. The four of us devolved into some very primal moments." He smiled. "You would have approved, and I'm sorry that you weren't able to be there to see. I'm quite willing to give you the smallest details, however, so you can reenact the scene in your mind."
Eric knew that Baba's imagination was vivid and capable.
He glanced around the cabin again, this time taking in the things in it. The way that it was home to his witch. "It's not bad. A little strange, but it suits you. But perhaps that's because I can feel the power in it."
A few quick steps and he was next to the tub, he sat on the edge of it and held out his hand. It was an offer to help her in, and to bathe her. A tender thing that maybe would have shocked many of the other people in this city, but probably wouldn't seem odd to the woman he'd asked to marry him.
He would have joined her, too, but this was not a bath for relaxing, it was a bath to get clean. Perhaps they could take another, after, later, in which they just lazed around in the warm water.
