"It's hard not to believe in anything here." Jennifer replied to the ghost query while picking through a fruit bowl. She wondered if she should be self conscious with the way Charlie was acting in front of his best friend/housemate, but she couldn't bring herself to be. That breath she hadn't known she was holding had been sustaining her since their night in the pool, and aside from their superiors, she didn't really care who saw them do what.
She smiled at Ted's question about her tattoo. "Not even if you were dying and it was your last wish." Jen popped the fruit into her mouth. "But no, not everyone has one where I'm from, tattoos are still about as commonplace as they are here."
If she had her way, the secret of the tattoo would linger long after she was dead and gone, and nobody would ever find the truth of it. She didn't know if it was really a valid hope, or a sustainable one, but it was one she was going to hold onto.
"Considering that the God likes to drink and bed women, too, I'm going to venture that it's only this one."
