Ted wondered how long since the two of them had become more than just partners. Probably not that long, since he'd not seen Jennifer around, and Charlie hadn't made mention of any of this. He didn't think Charlie would keep something like this to himself.
"I was worried too." Ted said, honestly. "I thought I was going to get stuck there. Our introduction to the world wasn't so hot. There were these giant rodents and then Spiderman had to save us. I'm not sure what to think of this having to be constantly saved from things bit."
Ted was happy to have fruit in front of him, and he picked a few things from a couple of the bowls, popping them into his mouth in turn and then savoring the flavor. He hadn't really thought about it there, in that place, but he was so glad now that he didn't have to live without fresh fruit.
"I... no. Not like you do." Ted shook his head. "But there is somebody now. Jo. We went out on a date. I was going to take her flowers and ask her on another when we both got sucked over to that planet. We ended up there together. I think we might be working on more than just dating at this point, considering."
She hadn't let go of his hand, and he'd not let go of hers, almost the whole time they'd been there. That had to mean something.
