"Jennifer?" Ted's eyes followed the path the girl had taken. "Jennifer your partner Jennifer?"
That was... odd. Ted wasn't sure what he should say about that, if anything. They could figure that part out later, he supposed. Charlie would likely tell him.
"I ate." He nodded. "No fruit really. A lot like prison. The food was complete crap, but it was enough to keep a person moderately healthy. There was a wall around the city, but not because of the chasm of space on the other side, because there were actually things outside of the walls that would kill you."
Ted made a face at Charlie. "What? No. There's Jo, but she hasn't even come inside and she's always been wearing pants. Except when she was wearing a skirt, but ... you know I don't have, you know, like you do."
