"I know this has to be weird for you. I'm sorry," she said.
It was weird for her too, and she could only hope that they would find her Dean. She had already spent enough time missing him while stuck in the other world.
"He does?" she asked, not exactly surprised by the information but it was still nice to hear. "We've been friends for about a year and have been together about two months. The City here decided to move us in together and... I guess when we discovered that and he was more worried about being there for me than about losing his own personal space, that's when I realized that he'd always been there for me. It's been a... difficult year and usually he's the guy helping me pick up the pieces."
She sighed and looked over at the other Dean a little guiltily. She wasn't trying to rub it in his face. In fact if she had known anything about the other Dinah, she probably would have kept mum a lot more.
"So how long were you stuck in that other world? Or is that where you're originally from?"
Dinah led the way around the corner and the scent of burgers greeted them as soon as they got within the line of sight of the burger stand. It wasn't anything fancy, but that was just fine by her. Her Dean was right about those burgers.
