Dinah would know that voice anywhere. She looked up at the shout and her face broke into a grin. She broke off into a jog and didn't stop until she'd almost bowled the man who she thought was her boyfriend over. She threw her arms around him.
"Dean. I thought-" the words stopped in her throat as she realized that 'I thought I'd never see you again' probably sounded a little melodramatic. Even if it was the truth.
She hadn't taken the time to notice that this Dean wasn't quite as well-nourished as her Dean, and that he might have been a little more unkempt.
Instead, she tugged him closer and pressed her lips to his in a kiss that communicated just how much she had missed him. Maybe she should have let him get a word in edgewise first...
