Jack got them walking in the direction he had been originally headed in, his shoulder hitching to adjust the rifle a bit more. Some people on the street gave him a second look for the weapon, but he carried it with a lot more ease than Father John had so it was easily overlooked as just part of him.
The things the priest was saying to him made him give John an odd look. "No one of the Faith, huh? I wasn't aware that a priest ceased being a priest just because there was no true believers to hear him preach." Why yes, Jack was a condescending asshole when he wanted to be. He just didn't like it when people behaved outside of who they were. It was why he'd made Castiel go do the soul searching thing. A depressed and emo angel was an ugly thing.
"But to answer your question, Father," Jack refused to call the man by his name. He had a title and Jack would use it. Stubborn bastard that he was. "Yes. I'm from the future. And the past. All over the time stream, actually. I was born in the future but have existed on Earth since 27AD." He smirked at John for a moment. "Didn't have the chance to meet your Christ though. I was a little underground at the time." Literally.
Jack spotted a MacDonalds and nodded to it. "Already the food's better, and I loathe that place." He spotted a bar down the street from the foul fast food joint and made for the place called Caritas. "But that place looks more promising."
