Jack stopped suddenly, hand reaching out to the door. He turned and looked at the gangly man beside him and let out a breath.
"You've got a good point." He looked back at the building. When was the last time he'd been in here? When the Bat had decided to go rogue and attempt murder, that's when. And what had he done to the place before that? Rigged it to kill anyone inside. "I'm actually kind of surprised you're still alive."
Well, the Scarycrow had made it out untouched, hadn't he? Jack wondered where he'd come from. Where in the building had this one started out? That would give him a good idea of what was safe and what wasn't. Though, there was also the chance that a trigger had misfired and would go off as soon as the door was open.
Crap.
"We've got a problem here, Crowman. I don't think all the traps I placed sprung their spring. I need to get in there." He needed to think this out, what the best route back in was. He wasn't going in there without a plan. So he turned completely around and had a seat on the top step.
"Given your glassy eyed appraisal of me, I'm going to guess you've just arrived. So why not sit down and tell papa all about it. I'll try to answer whatever questions you've got." Then he smiled. Really smiled. "Plus I have a game I think you'd like in on."
