Charlie nodded, confirming that Ted was gone. It bugged him, and he sometimes didn't do so well with being bugged. He didn't like losing people he cared for, not like this. He didn't like not having control. He picked another grape and ate it as he looked over her desk.
"I'm sorry about that. I might have asked them to forward my call, and..." He motioned to the notes, picking one out to read. "I forget that they aren't normal. Then again, who is these days?" He sighed, not feeling it. He wanted to. He wanted to feel that fluidity that came with certain ways of thinking; he didn't want to be angry Charlie. Angry Charlie got people hurt, and he didn't want to do that either.
"I don't think so. Haven't seen him. Haven't heard of anyone fitting his description causing a disturbance anywhere, not even in the morgue. We could make some calls, but I think the guy's gone." He took another note, looking it over. Someone had called in complaining about a ghost not being taken care of?
"Isn't this your ex? He does this kind of thing?" He set the ghost note down and followed it with something about the missing owners of Fangtasia. "Vampires and ghost hunters gone. Ted too. Ted doesn't factor in with the others. I don't think he does anyway." He was going to have to talk with his friend...if he ever saw the accountant again.
