Zoe's brow raised, and the more genial smile shifted to a hint sardonic. She looked over the man again before looking around. That was a good question. She doubted he meant the street address, but it wasn't the easiest thing to tell people.
"You probably aren't where you expected to wake up." The smile had slipped back to genial, soft. "You're in the City. It's some place very different from anything you've ever seen, I'm sure, and it will take time to become accustomed, if you do at all." She didn't point out that the streets moved, not when now on the corner was a small noodle stand that hadn't been there moments before.
"Would you like something to eat?" It had seemed to help a few new people she'd met along the way.
