Zoe felt...good. While she wasn't sure about his latest decision, she felt that Jesse might actually want to make things better. Maybe it was the strange Wash incident that still left her a little sick and scared at times, or maybe he just realized things had been off between them. Maybe he just wanted to be there more. Now whether or not he could just decide to make it happen was something else altogether.
She didn't strut as she walked down the street, forgoing the motor transportation. She actually did like walking, and nothing could beat her Mule, even her BatMule. Of course, flying the BatMule wasn't a great idea during the day, and certainly a bad one without the right work gear. So, the Amazon was left to walking in her tailored suit that hugged in just the right places, concealing a few of the less lethal weapons she carried as head of Wayne's security.
The warrior woman came to a stop when she almost ran into the fellow who'd looked like he'd fallen off the wrong side of the berth. Of course, in most cases there really was only one way to fall, unless gravity was mucked, but that would make it less falling than floating.
"Whoa there." Zoe thought announcing her presence might help things; she even gave him bit of a smile. She'd seen some pretty roughed up types right after the war.
