"There's some overlap, but I haven't seen anyone exactly the same," Megan told them. "Unless you count the Stepford Cuckoos. But even they're not the same all the time. They're these telepath girls who like to freak everyone out by saying the same things at the same time," she clarified. "I think they're sort of a hive mind or something, and also maybe clones, but I've never been sure and we don't really talk much." She sounded remarkably matter-of-fact as she said it. Just another day for Megan Gwynn, whose best friends were a lizard guy and an exploding rock person and whose former roommate had been a female clone of one of her teachers.
"I'm from Wales," she told Fred, "Except I spent a lot of time in New York and San Francisco and a floating island off the coast of San Francisco and then there was some time in another dimension but it doesn't really count. Did they have Dazzler where you're from?" She hoped so. She liked talking music with people, and so far nobody here had heard of Dazzler. It kind of took the awesome out of bragging that she'd been a back-up dancer for her for a while.
She landed and shoved some food in her mouth while Fred asked her questions. It was a good opportunity, as well as ensuring that she wouldn't interrupt. Probably.
