"It sounds like you haven't thought about it much, out of fear?" Jesse didn't know the crone that well. Teaching was ingrained in her very being. She was meant to lead wayward souls down paths, sometimes for better, sometimes for the worse. She was that little post in the road pointing one way or the other.
"Would you become something different? Dear boy, you are something different. You aren't even human. You hold to it as if to a lifeline, and the sex, the sleeping, the eating, all of it need not change. How do the ones you bed feel about you?" That sparked her interest. She reached over to touch his jaw, her fingers drawing a line along his shoulder then down his chest. It wasn't a straight line, it curved and swirled.
"Do they find it more than human?" She sighed softly, almost wistfully. She did wonder what the man did in the bedroom.
