Immediately upon his first question, she shook her head vehemently. It seemed foolish, upon further thought. She already knew that some of the people she knew also knew Eric. She knew Dinah had prior dealings. She knew Megan had... well, she wasn't exactly sure how Pixie had managed to get tangled up with Eric, but she knew enough to know that it hadn't been a good encounter. No, she hadn't known at all, and it was good... it was good that Errol knew it already. Some of the tension in her shoulders eased.
And then he smiled at her. She mirrored it back, five-fold. Everything's fine, he said, and she believed it without question. It seemed that those words set her back to rights again. "Thank you," she said to him -- low-dropping words, intensely grateful. And then, looking back to the one at the table, she grinned. "I've promised a tour," she said, more loudly -- and to them both. "And a tour there shall be!"
She tossed a parting smile over her shoulder at Errol, then headed straight for Lestat, hand held out in invitation. There was a store full of books, and they had so much territory to cover!
