Fred tensed for only a moment as she felt his arms go round her, but soon she was snuggled up to him just happy to be held. She took a deep breath; she wasn't trying to smell him, not that she could avoid it how close she was. She was trying to keep from crying. She'd done a bit of it, but she hadn't just given in. She'd been working on the fumes of anger and frustration.
Her arms wrapped about him, and she squeezed. She held tightly to him, her fingers tightened on his shirt. Her shoulders shook a little. She wasn't going to cry, but he was rumbling so sweetly and trying.
"Thank you." Her voice was soft, not exactly tiny, just soft.
