His eyebrows and hands lifted slightly when she stepped forward, but he didn't move away or try to touch her. It was more of a helpless and uncertain gesture.

After a moment his feral side started to urge him to react to this new scent of intrigue and amusement, and before it got too insistent he carefully put his arms around her and hugged her gently, resting his cheek on the top of her head. He wasn't good at vocalizing his support for her, not knowing too specifically her relationship with Jensen had been. Not knowing how bad she really felt. But the hug was his expression of being present for her anyway, however she needed. She was his friend, and a very good person, and he cared about her.
