Jennifer gave a backhanded swing with the butt of her gun when she saw somebody going for the woman she was trying to help. There was an impact and a spray of blood that she hoped didn't get on anybody.
The door was really near. There was also a press of bodies near it.
She took a moment to assess the situation and finally decided that the window next to the door would be an easier route. She flipped the gun around in her hand so she was holding it by the muzzle and broke the glass, shielding her face as it fell into a sharp pile at her feet. It was likely going to be the cause of other injuries, but she wanted to get this woman out as fast as she could.
Jennifer pulled the woman close and pointed at the window. It was long, reaching from just under the top of the door to just below the door handles, but narrow. A good sized man would have trouble getting out of it, but she was pretty sure that she could get herself and the other woman through.
"Listen." She said when the other got closer. "I want you to call the police. I want you to tell them that Jennifer Government said she needs backup at the..." Jennifer couldn't think of the name of this bar. "Whatever you see on the front of this building. If you can see it, give them the address, otherwise just tell them about the fight. Can you do that for me?"
