Jennifer understood what was being requested, mainly because of her years in law enforcement and having to communicate with somebody without being able to use words. Plus, the other woman was pretty adamant about what she wanted.
There wasn't a clear path, however. There were people fighting everywhere. Getting out wouldn't be easy, as it seemed as if nobody was really giving a crap about who they were hitting, they were just going at it.
Then she remembered she'd done something she shouldn't have, which was bringing her service weapon into the bar. It was a big no no, but now she was glad that she had it.
Grabbing onto the other woman's hand and drawing the gun at the same time, Jennifer pushed forward and flashed it at those who decided they wanted to stand in the way or try to hit her. In a fist fight, the one with the gun always won. Jennifer looked back at her charge and mouthed the words move faster.
