Lois beamed and set her books on the counter. She headed back to pick up her coffee and took a few sips of it, now fully in control since she wasn't juggling at the moment.
She did like telling stories.
"Well, before I got here, there was some sort of virus that turned everyone into werecreatures. Only each person's creature was different. And then King Kong rampaged the City and tried to make me his bride. Were you here when all of the streets in the City came to a halt and stopped moving? Or for the press conference with the embodiment of the City?"
She had a little half-smile on her face. Where some might have been a little bit fearful in talking about the experience with King Kong, Lois had long since gotten over the fear and was now just glad for the story she'd gotten out of it. She was strange that way.
