Fred sighed softly, her eyes dropping to her moved hand. She didn't let his hand get far; she claimed it with both of hers. She leaned in and placed a kiss to his cheek.
"I wouldn't expect anything else from you." She looked over his face, knowing that look, or recognizing it somewhat. "I expect you to dig as deeply as you can and then some. If you find something, you or one of the heroes will do what you need to." She wasn't condescending; she meant it. She needed it sometimes. She kissed his cheek again.
"I'm glad I could come tell you about him. That I have someone I can depend on, and someone who holds me and lets me know everything will work out." She kissed closer to his lips. "A very nice benefit with you is you can make me very happy. And you aren't so bad at making me scream...in the good way." There was a teasing smile.
