"No." Ted laughed. "I'm fine with you doing the driving. I'm not too macho to demand to be behind the wheel."
Driving was nothing special to him in any way. Just a way to get from point a to point b. Actually, now that he thought about it, he didn't find any excitement or aggravation in any kind of travel. It was just what happened between destinations.
Even if he had, though, he didn't mind the woman driving.
"Pickup truck." He was smiling. "I like that you have a truck." It was a random thing to say, but it fit her perfectly. He thought he might be disappointed if she'd said she had a Geo. "I'll be at work, you can get me from there. The City government building. I'll bring a change of clothes so I don't smell like office worker."
