"It wasn't a threat." Charlie took another sip of beer. "You're a good kid, but sometimes good kids do stupid things. Sometimes they end up places for longer than they should be." The detective had saved Logan a little money and time by taking him in and having him booked separately. The detective was also trying to keep the kid out of something much worse than the drunk tank. Whether Logan saw that or not, Charlie really wasn't going to be concerned about; he was not doing this for gratitude, even if a little from Logan would go a long way.
