Zoe knew that Jesse'd want to go. He had an odd relationship with the City, and she still wasn't sure she understood it. Truthfully, she didn't think she needed to understand it to be there for him. She didn't even complain when his hand tightened a little more than she liked. She just touched his arm to let him know he might want to loosen his grip a bit.
When they walked in, she naturally looked over the place, getting a feeling for the layout as well as who was there and where. She took a slow look around once a spot had been found, but soon she sat down. Her hand rested on Jesse's thigh, just a small reminder that she was there.
She winced a little at the question, her fingers giving Jesse's leg a squeeze. It wasn't a reprimand; she was curious to the answer herself.
