One question. Lois hated that restriction. She had a whole lot more than one question. All the same, she was determined to make it a good one. She had her notebook and pen in hand, ready to scribble notes as her question was answered and as everyone else's questions were answered as well.
She was also determined to go first with her question. She was pushy that way. So whenever the man who claimed to be the embodiment of the City did appear on stage and questioning was opened up, she spoke up.
"Lois Lane, reporter with the City Voice," she introduced herself before launching right into her question. "Why have you brought so many of us here from our worlds? What could you possibly have to gain from bringing us in?"
So perhaps that was two questions, or maybe just a clarification of her first question. It didn't matter. He would either give an answer that answered both or she would at least get a partial answer. While she didn't love partial answers, a partial answer was better than no answer.
