He didn't understand. He heard the noises, but didn't know what they meant. He didn't even connect them to his own plight when he'd met her. He thought maybe she had a cold because of the weather, which just made him more upset that he couldn't change it. She had been so lovely to him, he wanted to do nice things for her.
Thomas looked up at Beauty as she brought him dinner.
"I'm going to have a press conference." He told her. "To answer questions. You can ask at that, so everybody can hear."
He popped a piece of cheese into his mouth. He liked the food that Beauty prepared for him. It was simple, but tasty and filling. Not that he didn't enjoy the more complex meals he'd tested since being in this body, but it was nice to just have the simplicity.
Then he looked up at her again. "Though, I suppose, since you've been kind, I can answer one more for you. Here."
