"Glass. Right." She laughed nervously, glancing behind her once more before she let herself be led inside.
She gasped when she saw the light catching the glass, like windchimes or a disco ball but classier and slightly more dangerous. "That's awesome," she breathed, stepping around to get a better look at the office. The sun caught her wings as she moved, adding to the general kaleidoscope effect. "It looks incredible, really."
Megan looked over, realizing that he'd said that it hadn't been trapped. He seemed kind of... not really paranoid, but a guy who liked to have his home trapped against outsiders. It was kind of touching. "That's... wow," she said. "Thank you." Her smile dimmed just a little, as she thought it over. "You wouldn't mind if I... um, teleported here, though? Just for a little while? It's kind of a--you know, while I'm certain the City isn't moving, and there's some stuff I'd rather not--I really do appreciate it! It's just kind of a... thing," she finished lamely. "For a little while."
