She fussed with her hair while she waited, tugging it back, then brushing it loose again. She was looking nervously over her shoulder when Rufio opened the door. "Hey," she said, whirling around and beaming. "How have you--whoa."
She took in the paint and lack of the vest that she usually saw him in, which were both unusual but not exactly bad. Kind of the opposite, really, even the paint. The scratch on his face, on the other hand... "Oh my gosh!" she said, ignoring his hand to reach up and grab his face to see it closer. "What happened? Are you all right? You didn't get in any fights or anything, did you?" Maybe he'd got a pet cat. Cats scratched. Not usually on the face, though.
It didn't look too bad, so after a moment she let go, going pink. "Um. Hi. What'd you want to show me?"
