"I think prison makes you learn to deal with things." He said, kind of absently. He was looking at the house. He understood why, now, it had seemed so untouched. Nobody wanted to live in it. The ghost didn't seem to want anybody to live in it either. Or maybe she did because she wanted to kill people. Either way, nobody was staying for long.
Ted smiled and shook her hand. "I'm Ted. I have to ask, do you learn to do this kind of stuff after you decide that you want to carry a gun for a living, or is it one of those things that you grow up into?"
He was honestly curious. He couldn't logically make the leap from being an adult to deciding to hunt ghosts. Where did you find that kind of information anyway? He'd told Honour that you could learn anything on the internet, but this kind of thing? Was that online?
Even if it was, you couldn't just pick up a gun and know how to shoot it perfectly. Jo had had some pretty good style in there. He was impressed.
